ASSESS-Based Coaching

Coaching is often described as the process of helping individuals go from where they are to where they want to be. To accomplish this it is important to begin with a clear understanding of both the starting point and the destination so that the proper route (action plan) can be undertaken. The trip you plan to Paris might be very different if you knew you were starting from Dallas, TX or Rome, Italy.

As a coach your role is to help the individual clearly define the destination (the desired role and competencies) as well as the starting point (their personal strengths and needs) so that they can develop an attainable roadmap to their goal.

We know many of our clients use the ASSESS suite of tools (ASSESS Development Report, ASSESS 360 Feedback, Focus 360, and team comparison plots) as the foundation for this discussion and exploration.

To help support you as you guide coachees on this journey, we have developed a virtual coaching course (3 web-based sessions) to enhance your ASSESS-based coaching skills including personality scale and profile interpretation, integrating multiple feedback voices, and guiding leaders to develop their people.

Our next "trip" begins April 8th and you don’t have to go far to attend... just to your computer.

If you or someone in your organization would like to participate, please contact Jane Carter (1.800.283.6055) for more information about our new ASSESS Virtual Coaching Certification.
